Thank you for your interest in the Young Artists’ String Competition offered by Women In Music – Columbus. For mailed applications, the postmark deadline is Friday, December 31, 2010. A non-refundable application fee of $25 must be included with the application form (make check or money order payable to Women In Music – Columbus.) You may download the application here and mail to Women in Music – Columbus, ATTN: Young Artist Competition Committee, P.O. Box 14722, Columbus, Ohio 43214.

Likewise, the online application below will no longer accept submissions after that date. If you choose to submit your application online, you will be directed to our PayPal site to also submit the application fee after completion of this form.

RECORDING POLICY

During the auditions, a parent/teacher may only videotape his/her child/student. Videotaping of other contestants is not permitted. Parents may videotape the Women in Music - Columbus concert featuring the competition winners from a specified location in the performance venue. Anyone videotaping at the auditions or concert must abide by Women in Music - Columbus policies and not interfere with the auditions or presentation of the concert. The concert will also be professionally recorded (audio only) by Women in Music - Columbus, with a compact disc copy provided to the winners and one master compact disc retained in Women in Music - Columbus archives. Women in Music - Columbus will not distribute media, except as noted above and/or agreed to below.

PARENTAL PERMISSION FOR USE OF MEDIA MATERIALS

(I/We) agree that Women in Music - Columbus has (my/our) permission to make use of sound recordings, video recordings, or still photographs obtained at either the competition or at the winner's recital on Women in Music - Columbus’ web page for promotional purposes only. Please note: If this is not marked, Women in Music - Columbus WILL NOT use sound recordings, video, or still photographs obtained.
