Women in Music – Columbus issued a Call for Scores for works for possible performance in 2011-2012 for its “Sundays at the Huntington” concert series on the campus of Capital University, Columbus, OH and for its Member Musicales in private homes.
Works are to be by women composers and for small ensembles five or fewer. Ensembles can be strings or woodwinds or mixed with or without piano. Additional instruments available include horn, soprano and mezzo soprano. Of special interest are works for flute quartet. Shorter works (10 minutes or less) are preferred although works up to 15 minutes will be considered. Works with electronics will not be considered. No more than two scores per composer please.
